What is UNdrift?

UNdrift is a lightweight iOS app that quietly prevents "friend drift." It surfaces a tiny daily reach-out queue (two people a day by default), makes outreach one tap through your usual channels, and lets you log the outcome in seconds. Your circle lives in a private local database on your device and never leaves it; the only things that do are Apple's processing of the optional one-time purchase and any support email you send — see the Privacy Policy.

What is free, and what does UNdrift Unlimited cost?

Everything in UNdrift is free for a circle of up to five people. Adding a sixth person asks for UNdrift Unlimited, a one-time purchase through the App Store that removes the limit for good. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and nothing to cancel. The price is shown by Apple in the app before you confirm.

How do I restore UNdrift Unlimited on a new phone?

Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account that made the purchase. The paywall also offers Restore. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you bought an UNdrift Pro subscription in an earlier version, it is managed and cancelled through Apple at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions; UNdrift no longer sells or renews subscriptions.

How do I erase my data?

UNdrift keeps a small set of rotating recovery backups on your device so a damaged database can be restored. Because of that, erasing has two levels, both inside the app under Settings:

Reset App Data deletes your active people, notes, logs, and settings, but keeps the local recovery backups so you can restore your circle later.
Delete Everything, Including Backups also removes every local recovery backup. After this, UNdrift has nothing left to restore.

There is no UNdrift server copy of your circle. Deleting the app removes its local container, subject to iOS behaviour and any device or iCloud device backups you control. Neither action affects an UNdrift Unlimited purchase, which stays with your Apple Account and can be restored later.

Where did the AI drafting and circle insights go?

Version 1.8 removed them, along with the server that powered them. UNdrift now does one thing: it reminds you to talk to your friends. The message starters and the circle read on the Insights screen are built on your phone from your own entries, and nothing is sent anywhere. See Privacy Choices.

My daily reminder isn't showing up.

Check that notifications are allowed for UNdrift in iOS Settings → Apps → UNdrift → Notifications, then confirm your reminder time inside the app under Settings → Notifications. UNdrift uses local daily reminders and never sends push notifications.

Does UNdrift read my messages or contacts?

No. UNdrift never reads your call or message history and never scans your address book. Adding someone from Contacts uses Apple's picker, which shares only the single contact you choose.
