What is UNdrift?

UNdrift is a lightweight iOS app that quietly prevents "friend drift." It surfaces a tiny daily reach-out queue (two people a day by default), makes outreach one tap through your usual channels, and lets you log the outcome in seconds. Your circle lives in a private local database on your device; selected context leaves the device only for the optional AI features you switch on, Apple purchase verification, and ordinary website or support operations — see the Privacy Policy.

Frequently asked questions

How do I restore my UNdrift Pro purchase?

Open Settings in the app, choose UNdrift Pro, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. If the paywall appears anywhere in the app, it also offers a Restore option.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → UNdrift Pro, or go directly to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Canceling keeps Pro active until the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app or erasing its data does not cancel a subscription.

How do I erase my data?

UNdrift keeps a small set of rotating recovery backups on your device so a damaged database can be restored. Because of that, erasing has two levels, both inside the app under Settings:

Reset App Data deletes your active people, notes, logs, and settings, but keeps the local recovery backups so you can restore your circle later.
Delete Everything, Including Backups also removes every local recovery backup and cached AI result. After this, UNdrift has nothing left to restore.

There is no UNdrift server copy of your circle. Deleting the app removes its local container, subject to iOS behaviour and any device or iCloud device backups you control. Neither action cancels an Apple subscription, and UNdrift cannot delete copies held by other services described in the Privacy Policy.

Why do I need Pro for the AI features?

AI drafting and circle insights have real per-request costs, so they are part of UNdrift Pro. Each AI feature also asks for its own permission before anything is sent — one for drafting and relationship assistance, one for circle insights — and you can withdraw either at any time in Settings. My daily reminder isn't showing up.

Check that notifications are allowed for UNdrift in iOS Settings → Apps → UNdrift → Notifications, then confirm your reminder time inside the app under Settings → Notifications. UNdrift uses local daily reminders and never sends push notifications.

Does UNdrift read my messages or contacts?

No. UNdrift never reads your call or message history and never scans your address book. Adding someone from Contacts uses Apple's picker, which shares only the single contact you choose.
