Privacy Choices

Every control described here lives inside the app — no account needed, nothing to request.

AI permissions

UNdrift's AI features are off until you allow them, and each has its own permission:

AI Drafting and Relationship Assistance — message starters, rewrites, voice-note talking points, and relationship briefs. When you ask for one, the request's context (a person's first name, status, cadence, relationship summary, selected notes and touch summaries, and any draft you typed) goes through the UNdrift backend to OpenAI.
AI Circle Insights — if enabled, opening Insights may send one summary per day: circle scores and counts plus per-person neutral labels, status, cadence, days since last touch, recent touch count, and VIP status. Real names, note text, and touch-log text are not sent for this feature.

Withdraw either permission anytime in Settings → Privacy. Withdrawal stops the next request immediately, and the non-AI core of UNdrift keeps working.

Clearing AI results

Settings → Privacy → Clear stored AI results removes the locally cached circle insight from your device.

Deleting your data

Two levels, both in Settings: Reset App Data deletes your active circle but keeps local recovery backups; Delete Everything, Including Backups also removes every backup and cached AI result, leaving nothing to restore. Neither cancels an Apple subscription — manage that at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

No tracking

UNdrift has no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no marketing trackers — in the app and on this website.
